Entrance exams could be stressful if you do not prepare for them with the right strategy. Undertaking efforts without or the wrong strategy can make your attempt at the entrance exam go for a toss. Therefore, it’s always better to plan out your exam preparation beforehand and then go with it step by step. Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT), a university-level engineering entrance exam for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs may require you to put in extra efforts in its preparation. As you know that this exam is taken in the online mode, you have to be proactive, and this will come about when you know your entrance exam topics very well.

To start with, you need to know the syllabus of the entrance exam thoroughly along with the number of questions, marks for each question attempted, and negative marking if any.

BITSAT 2021 preparation will be easier if you gather necessary information about the exam like time duration, important topics, and books to refer from, type of questions, and sections in which the question paper will be divided.

This information will help you plan out your strategy and will also keep you on your toes while you are preparing. Here are some useful pointers to help you with your BITSAT exam preparation:

Know the complete syllabus – This is the first step that will lead you to the right exam preparation. You must know your complete syllabus. Just checking the headers won’t work. This will lead to half, or incomplete preparation that may not give results as expected. Therefore, know your subjects and syllabus to be covered in and out.

Divide your syllabus wisely – Find out the sections in which the question paper will be divided and distribute your time and syllabus accordingly. In BITSAT, the question paper will have four sections – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning. There will be 40 questions in Physics and Chemistry each, 45 in Mathematics; 15 in English Proficiency, and 10 in Logical Reasoning. Now you know which section to give more time to and you also know your weak and strong subjects, therefore, make a wise move!

Pick the right books: Don’t refer to any random book when it comes to preparing for an entrance exam. Pick the books that have a syllabus related to your exam and have an easy language to be able to understand the topics easily.

Revision is as important as preparation: This is proved that preparation is half done if you haven’t revised your syllabus thoroughly before the exam. The revision adds up to your confidence and also gives you a chance to work on your weak topics.

Stress is a NO! NO! – Taking any kind of stress will lead you nowhere. It is better to not take any stress and take things one at a time. Also, if you follow the right strategy at the right time, you will not have any time to stress about anything. All you will have to do is to sit for the exam and give your best shot!
